(2009) 8 x 60’ for BBC Three
Make My Body Younger is designed to shock young people into changing their dangerously over indulgent lifestyles and the second series is going to be tougher than ever.
Each week the lifestyle of an over-the-top contributor is examined to find out what damage their excesses are doing to their looks and body. And, as in the first series, each will be subjected to a state-of-the-art living autopsy using incision technology, developed by HMC Interactive the experiential multimedia company which is part of Twofour, so they can see the affects their lifestyles are having on their internal organs for real.
They might not look too great on the outside, but what about their insides? How has their lifestyle prematurely aged them? And how much time is there left to try and slow down the ageing process? To reverse the damage done to their body, the contributor must spend several weeks with a dedicated doctor, helping them curb their addiction to excess and life on the edge. The team will go to the core of their wayward behaviour. And, at the end, a repeat Living Autopsy will reveal if they have been successful.
