Eastbourne’s oldest theatre, the Royal Hippodrome, will play host to a very special event on Saturday 6 December as the tv show Noel’s Christmas Presents will be filmed at the Grade II listed building for transmission on Sky1 over the Christmas period.

After a break of a decade, Twofour and Noel Edmonds brought his Christmas stalwart show back to television last year with great success attracting the largest satellite TV audience of the year.

Once again, from the hundreds of nominations received, Noel and the team have been rewarding special people with presents which money cannot buy including trips of a lifetime to Norway, Disneyworld and Universal Studios in Florida.

There will also be some surprises for unsuspecting members of the theatre audience including reunions, gifts, unique rewards and thank yous – and some great live Christmas music to get you in a festive mood.
