House Wreck Rescue, Twofour's 10 part series for Discovery Real Time goes out on Thursdays from 1 October. This is a series for anyone who has ever driven past a tumbledown barn or neglected lighthouse and fantasised about turning it into the home of their dreams? House Wreck Rescue follows the journeys of people who are prepared to take that plunge by turning extraordinary ruins into spectacular homes. They will be assisted by property developers Zilpah Hartley and Gary McCausland who will be on hand to observe and advise. The properties include Thealby Grange Dovecote, which is being lovingly restored by first-time developers Andrew and Rachel who are rebuilding their relationship after the tragic death of their son (1 October), Old Lanwarnick Farm, the love of Jo and Mike which has the potential to push them to the limits (8 October) and Linley Green Chapel - being renovated by Brian Lord - that quite literally has bats in its belfry (15 October).  On 22 October at Ashmead Mews, young architects Dominic and Kirsten need some beginner's luck as they're investing everything in a dilapidated and massively mortgaged London mews.
