Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old? the hit family format from the US has proved a great success for Sky bringing in new viewers keen to watch Noel Edmonds in his schoolroom set supervising a quiz which challenges adults to answer curriculum questions. The kids are precocious, the adults are humiliated but it's worth it for the chance to win a cash prize of £250,000. When asked what recent shows have worked well for Sky in February's Televisual magazine Donna Taberer (Sky entertainment and features commissioner put Are You Smarter Than A Ten Old? and another Twofour show, Noel's Christmas Presents, at the top of the list. With over 0.6m viewers and 3.5% share Are You Smarter...? was one of Sky's most succesful shows of the winter and Noel's Christmas Presents capped this by topping the Christmas ratings for digital channels with 1.1m viewers.
