14/11/2007 TWOFOUR PICKS UP EIGHT RTS AWARD NOMINATIONS

Twofour has been nominated an impressive eight times in this year's RTS Devon & Cornwall Centre Awards with four nominations in the broadcast programme categories, two non-broadcast and two craft awards. The Beckhams Go To Hollywood, an off-the-wall documentary special for Sky One and Open Gardens, the long running gardening show featuring Carol Klein and Joe Swift for BBC TWO, are both nominated in the Best Network Leisure and Entertainment Programme category; Life Begins Again, a major 30 hour commission for Channel 4 has been nominated for Best Network Series and the intimate and moving documentary following Brittle Bones disease sufferer Dominic Hyams on his interrailing adventure has been nominated for Best Network Documentary. Both Soozy Cairns and Austin Ellard have picked up nominations in the Craft Picture Editing category and Twofour Communciations has also been successful with projects for the Driving Standards Agency (My Daddy) and British Heart Foundation (Risking It) both nominated for Non-Broadcast Production.
