Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old? Thursdays on Sky 1
It’s back to school for Noel Edmonds and his class of 10 year olds who have returned for a new series of Sky1’s hugely popular quiz show Noel’s Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old?
In the new series several famous faces are putting their reputations on the line to win up to £250,000 for their chosen charities in Celebrity Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old? Attending class for the celebrity specials are ex-Eastender Martine McCutcheon who was beaten by Olympic Gold medallist Sally Gunnell last Sunday, I’m a Celebrity Star David Gest, XFM DJ Alex Zane, Loose Women presenter Jane Macdonald, Dead Ringers Jon Culshaw and GMTV presenter Richard Arnold.
The running order for Celebrity Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old?Thursday 25 September - Sally Gunnell and David Gest
- Thursday 2 October - David Gest, Alex Zane and Jane Macdonald
- Thursday 9 October- Jane Macdonald and Jon Culshaw
- Thursday 16 October - Richard Arnold
In Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old? Noel Edmonds tests grown-up contestants on subjects spanning the primary school National Curriculum as he resumes his quest to find an adult smarter than a 10 year old. After the celebrity specials, members of the public will attempt to win the £250,000 jackpot by answering the teacher’s easy-peasy questions. But how soon will the grown-ups learn that it’s far from child’s play and be forced to turn to Noel’s class of 10 year olds for help in finding the answer?
If the contestants fail to answer the questions correctly they will have to drop out of school and repeat TV’s most embarrassing catchphrase: “I am not smarter than a 10 year old”. Having failed to discover a brain box in the first series, the pressure is on this series’ contestants not to become the class dunces.
Joining Noel this time round are a new class of 10 year olds. They are;
- Alice Nokes – Wallington, Surrey
- Alicia Lai – Peterborough
- Ben Wilson – Cheshunt, Hertfordshie
- Evan Coxley – Abercynon, South Wales

- Harry Carnaby – Wickford, Essex
