Stuart is responsible for developing new mainstream series with all the key UK/US broadcasters and expanding Twofour's range of programming to include drama, comedy and quiz formats. He now has drama, comedy and reality shows in funded development with three broadcasters.

As the first Controller of BBC THREE he oversaw a channel budget of £93m, commissioning hits such as Little Britain, Nighty Night, Casanova, Bodies, The Passion, Little Angels, The House of Tiny Tearaways and many other. BBC THREE won 6 BAFTAs, 5 British Comedy Awards, 15 RTSs and 5 Rose d'Or Awards under his controllership. In his final year BBC THREE won Broadcast Digital Channel of the Year for Best Entertainment Channel, and MGEITF Non Terrestrial Channel of the Year.
