Olympic Gold medallist, James Cracknell, is a man who likes to win. Television presenter, Ben Fogle, has never set foot in a rowing boat before. Together they have decided to attempt one of the world's toughest challenges: to row, unaided, 2,900 miles across the Atlantic. More people have climbed Everest than have ever successfully rowed an ocean, but Ben and James are not daunted by the feat that lies ahead of them.

Through Hell and High Water follows the unlikely pair as they set out on their epic adventure with only each other for company. Cameras catch all the highs and lows, including the moment the boat was capsized by a freak wave, throwing Ben overboard and trapping James inside the upturned cabin.
