From the smallest city plot to the grandest traditional English country house estate, dedicated gardeners put their reputations, their hopes and their dreams on the line as they throw open their gates to the National Gardens Scheme. They are attempting to open their garden to the public for the first time. Some prove to have what it takes to impress the rigorous County Judges but for others it will be back to the drawing board.
